DEATH'S MISTRESS by KAREN CHANCE

Death's Mistress (Dorina Basarab, #2) Death's Mistress by Karen Chance

My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I did this sort of quick, sorry if there's typos!

Synopsis:
Dorina Basarab is a dhampir-half-human, half-vampire. Back home in Brooklyn after the demise of her insane Uncle Dracula, Dory's hoping her life is about to calm down. But soon Dory realizes someone is killing vampire Senate members, and if she can't stop the murderer, her friends may be next...

My thoughts:
Death's Mistress is the second book in the Dorina Basarab series by Karen Chance. And like all Chance's books, it was amazing. I'm a HUGE fan of Chance's Cassandra Palmer series and Dorina Basarab is a branch off series of the Palmer series. It's placed in the same world as Cassie with some of the same characters such as Mircea and Louis-Cesare.. This book has Dorina helping her fey best friend Clair with a fey problem. Someone stold a precious fey relic that can help Clair save her son from those who are trying to kill him because he is next for the fey throne. But Dorina finds out it's much more bigger than just a few people. Everyone who are powerful and sneeky want this relic and Dorina doesn't know who is hner enemy and who she can trust.

Death's Mistress was a powerful, fast paced book that keept me begging for more. I cannot wait to see what Chance has for us next with Dorina. She's a strong character that knows what she wants, when she wants it. I've been a fan from thne start and will be until the end. If you haven't read either the Cassandra Palmer series or the Dorina Basarb series by Karen Chance, you don't know what your missing. Karen Chance makes Urban Fantay. I Highly recommend you read this!
