Current Reading Mood: Urban Fantasy
Quote of the day: “I’d have been dead a long time ago if not for my friends, one of whom had just jumped off the cliff after me.
I’d have been a lot more appreciative if he hadn’t pushed me first." Cassandra Palmer ― Hunt the Moon by Karen Chance

Projects for 2010

Each year I say I'm going to do this and that, and each year only some things get done. But this year I am trying extra to accomplish my goals, no matter how small. And being my champagne year, 21 on the 21st(of May) I feel that this is the best year to buck up and try new things, finish projects and be healthy!

My obvious goal will be to read even more, if possible. Maybe try new genres that aren't my usual. Maybe once a month pick a book I've never heard of that I don't know the synopsis to and just read it. Just some random fun.

Another thing is to get a new book shelf. I have many books, and nowhere to put them all. I have shelf space on my wall, but I have enough room for another book shelf in my I want to do that. And as you can see down below, that one is jammed. The rest of my books that aren't on there are just hanging around, which I'm not too pleased about. :P

Along with a new book shelf I want to finish my room on the last touches after I repainted it last month and get a new smaller computer desk. No more bulk!

In the book world this year there are some really exciting new books coming out. My favorite authors such as Laurell K Hamilton, Patricia Briggs, Karen Chance, Kim Harrison, Richelle Mead and Faith Hunter have books are being released sooner in the new year than most. I'm very excited for everyone of those books. But there are also my favorites such as Tate Hallaway, Karen Marie Moning, Charlaine Harris, J.R Ward, Jeaniene Frost, Kelly Armstorng, Jocelynn Drake,Carrie Vaughn, Caitlin Kittredge, Rachel Vincent and much, much more that are also releasing new ones that I'm super stoked to read!

Cheers to 2010!
