Blogger Hop Friday: July 30th, 2010

This week's question is:Who is your favorite new-to-you author so far this year?

I have read a few new AMAZING series this year, from authors that are new to me. I think my top favorite new-to-me author would be Ilona Andrews. Once I won Magic Bleeds, I went out and bought the first three to get started, and I was soooo happy I finally found this series. The Kate Daniels series was popular before I found it, but I just kept passing it over. I didn't realize what I was missing until I picked Magic Bites up. It was amazing! I cannot wait for book 5 in the Kate Daniels series now. Ilona Andrews is an amazing writer, way worth reading. The Kate Daniels series is brilliant! :)

I also found a few new authors (to me) who I also LOVE. One of them is Kimberly Frost. She's amazing and writes hilarious paranormal chick-lit. She's worth looking into!

Natasha, old follower just hopping over to check out your author pick and I agree that Andrews has one of the best series that have read in a long long while. I just finished the short Novella in Must Love Hellhounds and it features her friend Andrea Nash, loved it almost as much as the stories about Kate....

Have a fun hoppy and a great weekend kiddo!
