My thoughts:

Resident Evil`s movies have been based on the super popular video game by Capcom.
I`ve been a fan of both the video games and the movies almost immensity after they were both released. There are now 4 Resident Evil movies, all of which have been written by Paul W.S Anderson, and his second one to direct as well.

Afterlife picks up soon after last entry left off, with the world ravaged by a zombifying T-virus unleashed by the Umbrella Corporation. But things could be worse, because Alice (Milla Jovovich)
is back and with a vengeance.
If your a huge zombie fan, like myself, you my be a bit disappointed in the lack of brain-eating scenes. I know I was. But the ones that were presented were pretty good. If your a fan of the shoot first and ask questions later scenes, then you will NOT be disappointed. There were many of those scenes for sure.

There was plenty of action and gore, and a large amount of matrix-like fighting scenes.  Half the time I just wished I could give a kick like Alice, just once... But I know I`d end up in crutches for weeks. I also found that Albert Wesker( Shawn Roberts) reminded me of the Terminator. I was expecting him to burn and have robot parts under neath. Over all, the movie was quite entertaining, despite what some critics have said. Being in Real D 3D is probably why I loved it as much as I did. Some movies don`t need it, and this one didn`t either, but some scenes felt as if they were written for the 3D experience more than other movies have had yet. It was worth the extra admission cost for the 3D experience.

I went to see the movie the first weekend it aired with my husband, it was not one of my faves of the series so far...
Did not get to see it in 3D either...

I enjoyed this one much more than the last 2, though nothing beats the first movie. The only thing I found irritating was the newest mutation of the zombies, reminded me of Blade.

I agree Sarah! I didn't really like the newest mutation!

I havent seen this one yet but I must admit I am not a 3D fan... mostly because I can not stand to wear the glasses. I know it's an upgrade from back in the day but still... ugh... I dont like the feeling.

I do like the review though and I most definitely hope to see it but I am lacking on the baby sitters end. My sitter are traveling right now. =( But I do plan to see it sooner then later!=)
