A mythic warrior who'll stop at nothing to possess her…
A vampire captured by her wildest fantasy...
An all consuming desire...
A Hunger Like No Other is the second installment in the bestselling Immortals After Dark series by Kresley Cole. I've read some mixed feelings reviews of this novel, and I honeslty don't feel the same.
I was instantly intranced into the world kresely has invented. Werewolves, vampires, valkryies, Demons, and more, fill this novel with a pack of action and lust. I couldn't tear my eyes away from the pages.
Lachlain is an amazing character. Strong, handsome, fierce but capeable of so much love. At first, I wondered where she was going with his character, he was a bit over bearing and thoughtless of others, that was beacuase of him being held and tourtured by vampires for over a hundred years, where his only feelings are pain and hate. he finally gets the scent of his female mate, and will do anything to
be out of this tourture to find her. Nothing could stop him in the hunt for his mate.
When he finds his mate Emmaline Troy, he's horrified to discover she's a Vampire, his sworn enemy. How could fate be so cruel?
His mate is his reason to live, and it turns out to be a timid Vampire, one who seems so fragile. What he doesn't know is that Emmaline isn't a fll
Vampire, she' half-vampire, half-Valkyrie. The only one that they've ever heard of being.
Emmaline is a soft, loving character, and is appaled by Laclains actions towards her. She is attracted to him, how could she not be? But is his fiercness and directness too much to bare?
When she is taken from everything she knows to acompany Lachlain to his home is scottland where he has no intention of letting her leave.
This story doesn't only rely on Emmaine and Lachlain, there are many vibrant characters who really help make the story fulfilled. I love Kresley's style of writing, she writes an amazing plot, hilarious characters and some pretty amazing lusty scenes.
She's a new favorite for mine for sure. I read two books in a day an a half and just picked up another two, I can't wait to read more!
