I’d have been a lot more appreciative if he hadn’t pushed me first." Cassandra Palmer ― Hunt the Moon by Karen Chance

Pinky Promise by Natalie Valdes Chapter 1 Review + Chapter

Natalie contacted me to review each chapter of her novel "Pinky Promise" every two weeks. I jumped on the chance because this is something I've never done and also because it sounds rather fun!

Title: Pinky Promise?
Author: Natalie Valdes
Genre:YA Supernatural Romance

Summary:
Do you believe in heaven or hell? Angels or Demons? Ghosts, or even second chances at life?

Losing someone is one of the hardest things imaginable, for Jaylynn-first it was her father-and then it was him.

The one that had been her first love, the one that had given her the highest hopes towards a wonderful future together, forever.

He, who had promised her he would never leave her just as her father had. Jace, the war hero. High School senior, Jaylynn doesn't know how to cope with this new loss, and when Jagger-a boy that reminds her entirely too much of Jace enters her world- trouble will brew as secrets and mysteries are unraveled.

Prologue + Chapter 1 Review:

At first I didn't know what to think. So much heartache in so little words. There's much talk of death in the prologue and first chapter, but halfway into the first chapter you get easily intranced with Jay, the herione. I want to see her happy and want to know what's up next for her. I was especially peeved that it ended so soon because when we get a handsome, mysterious new male character, I get thoroughly hooked and then it ends. So now I have to wait another two weeks to read on.  I can tell this is going to be an addictive read.

Check out this chapter tomorrow on Natalie's blog. You won't regret it!

Check back in two weeks for my review of chapter 2 + the link to read it!
