Eureka is CANCELLED!

Eureka.jpg (600×450)*Heart breaks*
I regret to inform all who don't already know, that Eureka, the most amazing show on syfy is cancelled.

Check this out:
ICYMI, here's Amy Berg on Eureka's cancellation: "Everyone is asking why. It's simple, really. We are the network's golden child in every way, except profit margins. Fact is, Eureka is an expensive show to make. And we could not maintain the quality of our show with the cuts it would take to make us profitable for Syfy's new parent company. Our creative execs at Syfy fought hard to keep us. Trust me, they LOVE us. We just couldn't make the numbers work." - Taken from Will Wheaton's Google + post

Here's what Will Wheaton blog said about the end of Eureka:

There will only be one episode left, ever. I know they would keep the show if they could and we, the fans have no idea how hard it is to keep that show on television with all it's expenses, but really? Before the season was
even normally finished?

It's a bummer to the fans, but what about the actors and writers? They do such an amazing job on this show. They put so much work into it. I hope they know we appreciated Eureka. No matter the ending.

So much will be missed. The crazy scenarios and even crazier cast. I love them all, but no more Fargo? *pouts*
Fargo was a one of a kind character. If something went wrong in Eureka, it was usually due to Fargo's ideas on a whim.

The main thing I think most will be disapointed with is the whole time machine present that never got to come to a close. Not to mention, the last few episodes new problems with NASA and Allison's brain probe conspiracy. *sighs* I hope the last episode is at least two hours long, which I doubt.  Anyways, I plan on having more goodbye posts about Eureka. But for now, here's my two cents on a show that will be missed.

They film this show in my home town, it was fun to see the sets and stuff. It's sad it will be gone. I love the fact that the shows on the SyFy network cross over, how they have people from Warehouse 13, Alphas, and Eureka visit the other shows.
