Quote of the day: “I’d have been dead a long time ago if not for my friends, one of whom had just jumped off the cliff after me.
I’d have been a lot more appreciative if he hadn’t pushed me first." Cassandra Palmer ― Hunt the Moon by Karen Chance

2nd Ann. Halloween Extravaganza! Zombie Week- Night of The Comet Review

Review: Night of the Comet (1984)

Director: Thom Eberhardt
Writer: Thom Eberhardt
Stars: Catherine Mary Stewart, Kelli Maroney and Robert Beltran

Summary:
A comet wipes out most of life on Earth, leaving two Valley Girls to fight the evil types who survive.

Review:
I'm still laughing. Not because it had good humor, but because of how corny parts were. 'Night of the Comets' was super corny, yet entertaining. It might have been better after a few drinks or friends.

It's starts out with a serious male voice, telling about earths coming doom and such and then bam! Corny 80's music. Not even a scary track. The mall scene is one of my favorite parts. They girls crash the mall for some fun and turn out in a gun fight.

It's not my usual 80's type movie, but it was okay. I may watch it again with friends ones night, but I doubt I would ever watch it again alone.

Funny Quotes:

Regina Belmont: You're crazy!
Willy: I'm not crazy, I just don't give a f**k.

Regina Belmont: Have you ever been hit with Dots, Mel? Milk Duds? Those things hurt!

Samantha: Nice car.
Danny Mason Kenner aka DMK: Thanks, I have 23 of them.

Sarah: I don't know, my parents told me never to breathe anything from strangers.
