I’d have been a lot more appreciative if he hadn’t pushed me first." Cassandra Palmer ― Hunt the Moon by Karen Chance

Favorite Holiday reads and spots! What's yours? Plus a free read!

Tis' the season to be merry and read as much as you can! Reading by the fire? On your favorite chair? Under the covers in your bed? Anywhere, as long as you have your drinks and your books? My favorite place to read is in bed, under the covers with my kitties laying around me. After I post this, that's what I'll be doing. Where's your favorite spot to read?

Do you have a favorite Christmas novel? One you read every holiday? Or maybe one you've only read once, but thought it was fantastic and holiday fitting? I have many favorites, but I'm in need of many more. I'd love to hear all your thoughts and picks.

Here's a few recommendations (off the top of my head!)

A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens -Click the link to read it free on your kindle!

How the Grinch Stole Christmas by Dr. Seuss - Classic. No matter how old I get, I still love this story in writing and on the screen.

All I want for Christmas is a Vampire by Kerrelyn Sparks - Vampires and Christmas, sounds good to me!

Charming the Highlander by Janet Chapman - A recent read of mine that I loved.

A Highlander Christmas by Janet Chapman - The title says it all.

A Christmas Knight by Michele Sinclair - I haven't read this one yet, but it sounds good! Have you read it?

The Bite Before Christmas by Jeaniene Frost  (etc) - I can't believe I haven't read this one yet. I'm going to ASAP. I know it's going to be awesome.

Tied with a Bow by Lora Leigh (etc)  - I really want to read this one. Great authors!

Holidays are Hell by Kim Harrison (etc) - This one is a fun holiday read! If you love Kim Harrison, then reading her short stories will be something you won't want to miss!

The Magical Christmas Cat by Lora Leigh (etc) - Even if it wasn't filled with great authors, I'd want to read it for the title. :)

A Cowboy Christmas by Janette Kenny - This sounds like a light mood read. I'm going to check it out.

Lump, A Christmas Tale by Robert T. Jeschonek - Sounds really unique and it's only 99 cents! Click the link to check it out:)

A Vampire Christmas by Michele Hauf (etc) - This looks sooooo good!

Jungle Hells by Misty Evans - I love this series. Such a good book and it's only 99 cents! Check the link!

The Bite Before Christmas by Heidi Betts - Another I haven't read, but it looks good!

A Very Vampy Christmas by Kerrelyn Sparks - I want to read this! I can't believe I missed this one.

That's only naming a few, I know I missed so many others I love. What are some of your recommendations for a good holiday themed read?

The First Love Cookie Club by Lori Wilde is a sweet contemporary romance with a holiday-theme.
I am looking forward to Kerrelyn Spark's vampire Christmas ones. I don't think I've read a paranormal holiday-themed book yet and want to :)
