Quote of the day: “I’d have been dead a long time ago if not for my friends, one of whom had just jumped off the cliff after me.
I’d have been a lot more appreciative if he hadn’t pushed me first." Cassandra Palmer ― Hunt the Moon by Karen Chance

Review:
It's been three days since I seen this in the theatres, and I still feel as if I just watched it. This movie is so intense and fantastic, it will make you cringe, beg and even cry.
I always thought Liam Neeson a great actor, but great doesn't even begin to describe his part in this movie. Ottway(Liam) is one heck of a tough male. He was born a leader and a fighter.
This movie had some many intense parts. As said in the synopsis, the plane crashes. That alone was the most terrifying scene I've ever watched. It was true horror. Not to mention the fierce wolves. I always thought I could find a way around a wolf, I'm not so naive any more.
It wasn't all intense scenes, there were many down times where the past was looked at and where the men talked. It was truly interesting and a bit sad.
What really makes this movie hit home for me is the fact that the men are working at camps and returning home to their families. Where I live, almost half the men are out west working on camps and just waiting to get back to visit their families. The men in the movie even had the same look as many of the men from here. Real men. *laughs* It added that extra realness to the film that many not everybody would feel.
Quickly, back to Liam. His role was brilliant. I can't stress that enough. The secondary characters also played very compelling roles. I loved the chemistry the characters shares when they were terrorfied. Have you ever noticed when watching new horror movies(other movies as well, but mostly horror) that the teenage girls or woman always act differently then how you and your friends would. In my opinion, they almost always give away that they're acting. I can't get into it as much because I know they're acting. Anyway, that doesn't happen with these men. You actually believe their stories and feelings. It was brilliant.

Many people had mixed feelings about the ending. I won't give away anything, but I will say this. I found the ending perfect. What did you expect? It fit with the film and I was satisfied. I highly recommend you all checking this movie out. Theatres, rental, no matter. It needs to be watched!
