Quote of the day: “I’d have been dead a long time ago if not for my friends, one of whom had just jumped off the cliff after me.
I’d have been a lot more appreciative if he hadn’t pushed me first." Cassandra Palmer ― Hunt the Moon by Karen Chance

Top 5 Sunday! April 22nd

This feature was thought up by the awesome Larissa's Bookish Life

1 - Write a post listing your TOP 5 choices within the theme I chose (or was chosen on a poll) for the week.
2 - Mention this Blog on the post and link back to it.
3 - Fell free to use the Feature's image
4 - After you've finished your post, add you link (of the post, not your blog's main page) to the Mr.Linky at the end of that week's post.
5 – If you don’t have a blog to post, just leave your list in the comments =)

Top 5 Sundays - Reasons I'll Quit an Author!

  • 5. When sex becomes a every chapter appearance in a non-erotic series.
  • 4. When more than one of their last novels get boring. (I always give one book the benefit of the doubt.)
  • 3. When the heroine just doesn't seem to get anything. You can be naive for a little while, but come on. If you don't start to get it, then I won't read it.
  • 2. When authors act inappropriately towards reviews. If the review is fair, for or against your novel, that's the bloggers opinion. Your not always going to have everyone love your work. Deal with it.
  • 1. When your twenty books into a series and nothing game changing has happened since book ten. It's hard to let go, but it's got to be done.

Honourable Mentions: ;)
  • When I can't seem to stay focused on the plot/characters. A boring plot is always a bummer, but I really can't seem to get into a novel with twenty characters being introduced at once. It's hard to keep track and then I finally loose interest.

I agree with the sex thing. If I want that much sex I'll read an erotic novel :P

Nice, totally agree with number 3, if the hero or heroine is remaining clueless for a long time then why keep reading on.

I really wish authors would end series after 10 books. Most series lose their luster once you go that far.

OOoh I agree with those as well! Especially the one about wayyy too much sex. It can get boring for the paranormal reader!

Thanks for visiting my Top 5!
