Quote of the day: “I’d have been dead a long time ago if not for my friends, one of whom had just jumped off the cliff after me.
I’d have been a lot more appreciative if he hadn’t pushed me first." Cassandra Palmer ― Hunt the Moon by Karen Chance

Teaser Tuesday- July 10th, 2012

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

* Grab your current read
* Open to a random page
* Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
* BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
* Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

This week's teaser is:

"The Jews of Budapest live in an atmosphere of fear and terror. Anti-Semitics acts take place every day, in the streets, on the trains. The Fascists attack Jewish stores, synagogues. The situation is becoming very serious..." page 9

Jackrabbit Junction Jitters (A Jackrabbit Junction Mystery #2) by Ann Charles“Sorry, I mean, no, I’m just looking for a good time—a

nice time, not ‘good’ like ‘good-time Saturday night.’” Oh,
God, she was botching this up so bad. She took a breath. “I
just want you to show me some of the local sights, please.”
Grinning, Butch asked, “How about Sunday afternoon?”
“No!”
His smiled widened. “Are you always this passionate,
Kate?” Page 167

"Night" is compelling book--one I think everyone should read at least once (and some politicians or heads of state more than once). Thanks for dropping by today!
