Welcome Eleni! Thanks for stopping by!
Thanks for having me on your blog, Natasha.
Halloween is near, do you have any plans for the big night? Do you dress up?
Being an Aussie, I don't have any big plans for the night and I don't dress up. I will be involved in a Halloween Blog Hop however, celebrating the 2nd Anniversary of the DarkSide DownUnder blog. (http://darksidedownunder.blogspot.com).
What was your most memorable Halloween costume?
Alas, I have never dressed up for Halloween. The last costume I dressed up as was the Emmy Award (you know, the US TV awards) at the Romance Writers of Australia's cocktail party in August. The theme was 1950s Hollywood, and yep, she was around then.
Let's talk books for a moment..
Describe Zeta and Daniel each in three words?
Zeta - Quirky, determined, loyal
Daniel - Stubborn, fighter, protector
Where'd the idea for the name Zeta come from? It's Greek, or am I mistaken?
Yes, Zeta is Greek. It's a name I've always liked and when I was starting this story, I watched a Greek TV show where a character's name was Zeta. And it's pronounced Zet-a, not Zee-ta, just in case anyone was wondering.
Are you currently working on anything?
I've just started to work on A Warder Tale 2 - this time it's Daniel's cousin, Jessica's story.
If you could collaborate with a well known author, who would you choose?
That's a real toughie. Really, if he was still alive, I would have loved to work with Roald Dahl. His stories were full of imagination and fun, and I loved them as a kid. If someone now; As for now - male author: George R.R. Martin - I think I could learn a thing or two about fantasy world building and complex plots from him. Female author: for something a little different - J.R. Ward as love her take on vampires and fallen angels.
Who are some of your favorite authors?
So many authors that I love so it's a hard one (I ask this same question in interviews I do). But influences had and have been Roald Dahl (getting to read the books again due to my godson), Judy Blume, Stephen King, Mary Higgins Clark, Victoria Holt, Jennifer Roberson, Diana Gabaldon, David & Leigh Eddings...and much much more.
Back to Halloween..
What's your favorite Halloween themed movie?
I think the first one I saw was the first Friday the 13th film when I was very young - it's what happens when you have older cousins. It scared the crap out of me. Didn't stop me watching horror films as a teenager.
Favorite Halloween Villain? (i.e. Michael Meyers, Jason, Freddy)
Freddy was a big favourite. How many times I watched the Nightmare on Elmstreets in the 80s, I can't recall.
Randomness:
Pepsi or Coke?
Coke - actually Coke Zero.
Favorite alcoholic beverage?
Midori and Lemonade ; and Mascato are tied. But I'm not much of a drinker.
Horror, or light spooky feel?
I do enjoy both the dark and the light side of stories. So can I say both - it really depends on the story.
Summer, Winter, Spring or Fall?
I love the in-between seasons - Spring and Autumn (aka Fall) or I should say I liked those seasons when I was a kid. We don't seem to get them as much now days.
Napping or Walking?
Since I have CFS (chronic fatigue syndrome), napping :)
Cats or Dogs?
Dogs. I've got a feisty American Staffy. He's got attitude with a capital A.
Did I pester you enough?
Nah! :)
Thanks for stopping by! You rock!
It was my pleasure. Always great to visit you here.

Great interview
Eleni, I also love napping (just woke up from a nap 5 mins ago)! And I also used to read a lot of Victoria Holt when I was a teenager.
Thanks for dropping in Hazel and Coleen.
Colleen - naps are the best. Makes me feel semi human.
Hey, Eleni, I think the last time I donned a Halloween costume was in 1989 - I was a zombie nun at our party. The party included a male stripper dressed as a construction worker compliments of my hubby. Best night ever! Wishing you all the best in your publishing ventures! Cheers!
Coke Zero, really? Okay, I'll try not to hold it against you! Just kidding!
This sounds like a good read.
Coke Zero? I'll try not to hold it against you. :) And Freddy - Nightmare on Elm Street - scared the heck out of me. My first real horror movie was An American Werewolf in London. Love the transformation scene - now.
Sounds like a great book. Look forward to reading it.
I am so behind - sorry ladies...
Sharon - zombie nun sounds a hoot
Sara - surprising I find the real Coke too sweet for me now. I have too much sugar, so it's a way of cutting back.
Sandy - thank you.
Nancy - LOL, you and Sara are of the same mind. I think I need to rewatch some movies that had scared me. Hmmmm I need sleep, so maybe not :)
